Where the learning goes

Our students do not wait until graduation to be useful. From Year 2 they teach, intern and build.

Year 3 capstone

Startup Showcase Day

The programme ends with something public. Each graduating student presents her capstone — a small venture or a community service project — to teachers, families and invited guests.

  • A ten-minute pitch: the need identified, the work done, the results and the lessons.
  • Assessed on rigour, real impact, ethical grounding and quality of reflection — not profit alone.
  • Mentors from the faculty and invited professionals give written feedback.
  • Standout ventures receive continued mentorship after graduation. [Support programme to be confirmed]
Year 2 placement

Community teaching programme

In Year 2, students teach — usually a children's Quran or Islamic studies circle at a local masjid, madrasah or in their own neighbourhood.

Placements are arranged with the guardian's consent and in an appropriate, supervised setting. Students plan lessons, teach a set number of sessions, and are observed against a teaching rubric by both a local supervisor and a faculty mentor. Nothing consolidates knowledge faster than having to explain it to a child.
